When I see a Japanese Maple (Bloodgood) on as a $20 special
at the local Garden Center,
I can not resist...
...I can't let such a good deal pass me by,
even though I only have a little Escape.
A kindly lady walked by, stopped and asked in amazement...
"Can you fit all that in?"
Oh, I have done this numerous times...
with leaves waving gently in the passenger seat
as I drive home.
...And there she is,
safely home!
Mission accomplished.
(Notice the other red maples in my yard : ))

ReplyDeleteThat's too funny Nell. You have a nice 'collection' of the beautiful red maples. We don't see many of them around these parts. I love them for their nice red colour all year. Enjoy the long weekend.
ReplyDeleteI have carried all manner of furniture, etc in my car. Your trees are so lovely and even more so in the fall!
