Roaring River

The rushing of water is fascinating and beautiful.
It also can be powerful and dangerous.

Here the Coquihalla River is hurrying down this rocky channel,
on it's way to the Pacific ocean by way of the Fraser River.
It drops 1000m in 53km.
Can your hear the roar of the swiftly flowing water?

  1. I love these shots Nell. You have frozen the water in your pictures!

    Greetings from the Netherlands,

  2. Beautiful photos. We picnicked at the Chehalis River this July and also hiked the trail beside up a very steep hill (small mountain to me!). It too was very swift and beautiful and so clear.

  3. Nothing like the sound of a rushing river tumbling over rocks... Thank you for coming by sharing your creative photography on Weekly Top Shot #101!

  4. Great captures! I can almost hear the rushing water.
