My Garden - "Summer Storm"

 
A few days ago my Hibiscus (Rose Mallow)
bloomed for the first time...

 
...it is so exciting to see these humongous flowers
open their faces... 

 
... to grace our lives with their beauty.
This Hibiscus, with it's 10 inch flowers is
appropriately called Summer Storm
(Hibiscu Summerific "Summer Storm")

    Absolutely gorgeous! I've never grown a hibiscus. I've seen a lot of beautiful ones on blogs this summer.
