Barn - Study of Contrasts

Another large, old dairy barn...

...looking sleek and proud beside it's smaller twin...

...which looks very tattered, worn and decrepit...
...mottled??!

... another view of the barn twins.  : )

  1. Oh, wow, would love to see these in person. Love them both...both the old and the new.

  2. hmm, they must have thought it would be cheaper to build a new one rather than fix up the old one. Both are beautiful for different reasons. That new one looks awfully spiffy!!

  4. It's really interesting, the difference. I love the green color on the newer barn - but the poor older barn still has some charm to it.

  6. Wow, those are really interesting barns next to each other. What a difference between them! It's sad to see one looking so bad. I wonder what the story is on that?

  7. The new barn looks really nice, so pretty in green. I've got to say though, from a photographic view, the old one has a lot more character. I wonder if it's green from envy, sitting next to the sleek new one....

  9. The bigger one must have been their momma's favorite....not only did she feed it more, she clothed it better!
