Quiet in the Springtime

The beautiful weather drew me
to the empty beaches of Cultus Lake,
even though there was a slight chill in the air
and the mountain tops were still covered with fresh snow.

The lakeside homes are perched close
to the waters edge...

...but a large part of the lake is surrounded by a lovely
provincial park and numerous trails.  : )

  4. How fortunate to be the people who live in that house hugging the cliff in the middle photo. Can imagine how glorious the sunrises and sunsets would be from this location. Love the way that one strong evergreen tree is so important in your photo.

  5. That is so beautiful. I remember being there 35 years ago! Those houses probably weren't there then though. I wonder how they got the supplies in and built them on those high cliffs! Tricky. ;)
