How tragic that everything we as humans try to accomplish seems to have ties to the almighty dollar. It's a shame they couldn't have been left to just grow on their own. And I love hazelnuts.
But why cut the trees? :( How sad ... hazelnut is a common enough flavoring. I suppose that means most of the flavoring is artificial.
I have left a lot of apple tree stumps behind in my time....just like this. Till we could pull them out.
