  7. I know nothing about farming or dairy farming, so this will probably sound really stupid...is that round thing over to the side of the barn where they store the milk? I've seen milk trucks that look like gas trucks that have big tankers, so they have to store the milk somewhere until they come pick it up and take it to be bottled, right?

  8. The round ring to the right of the barn is called a Slurrystore, which is a nice name for manure storage. Manure is stored for a good part of the year to protect the enviroment. Farmers are only allowed to spread their manure in the fields at certain times of the year. Milk is stored in a steel milk tank in the "milk house" and is not near as big. Hope that helps. : )
