We only have some patches of snow

left from last weekend's snowstorm...

but here are a few more photos taken of this snowy event.

My Garden - Snow Covered

 

These photos were taken of my garden a few days ago

after the weekend snowstorm...

(..don't these three bears look

a little puzzled with this white stuff...)

 

...before all the snow began to melt...

 

...and when the wind carvings were still visible...

 

...and the perennials created an interesting pattern

against the snow.

 

Today we had a high of 12 C. and a lot of green

patches of lawn are

showing their faces.

Winter Storm

 

It has definitely been wintry here

the last few days...

 

We don't often have snow here

as we are so close to the coast...

 

...but the snow and wind is making up for it today.

We are having a snowy day today...

and the snow became deeper and deeper

as we gained elevation...

 

What a wonderful day to be outside

on the trails!
