Barn - Blue Roof Appeal

A rather unusual shaped barn

updated with a colourful blue metal roof...

..this is still a working farm.

Notice the milk house in front of the cement silo,

where the milk is cooled and stored before shipping.

With rustic wooden siding,

this barn is just a hop and skip down the road

from last weeks barn charm shown here.

My Garden - Hyacinths

I always forget where and what bulbs I have planted,

until they open their blooms in spring

 with a burst of colour!

Hyacinths always amaze me with their complexity,

and this week I found these peachy coloured blooms

in a sheltered corner in my garden.  :   )

My Garden - Exciting Colour

 Seeing so much colour

unfolding in my garden,

I am almost

giddy with delight...

...purple Primroses...

...blue Scilla.        :  )

...and more!

Neighbourhood Mule

This mule is looking longingly over the gate.

It's spring time and I think she wants to hit the trails....  :  )

Pink Delight

In the next week or so the trees buds will leaf out...

...and brighten the world with their vivid greens...

...but for now

I will enjoy the gorgeous blossoms on my peach tree!  :  )

Barn - Original Windows

Original wooden siding...

...original windows...

in an original barn

...built many years ago close to the road

and on a slight swale

to stay high and dry in case of spring flooding!    : )
