A Prairie Scene

 
A long, straight stretch of prairie road
 on a beautiful, cold, winter day
with the mid afternoon sun low on the horizon. 
The coldest day we experienced on our Alberta visit
was a bone chilling -37C, with a wind chill of -47C.

    Looks like a typical praise scene. Those windchill are brutal.

    I see scenes like this around here....and though I tire of the cold, I still love to see photos like this. In yours, that road just seems to go on forever.

    That does look very cold but the frost is beautiful. Friends there had a very heavy frost on the trees etc. a few weeks ago and it was magical looking.
