A Prairie Scene

A long, straight stretch of prairie road
on a beautiful, cold, winter day
with the mid afternoon sun low on the horizon.
The coldest day we experienced on our Alberta visit
was a bone chilling -37C, with a wind chill of -47C.

  1. Looks like a typical praise scene. Those windchill are brutal.

  2. I see scenes like this around here....and though I tire of the cold, I still love to see photos like this. In yours, that road just seems to go on forever.

  3. That does look very cold but the frost is beautiful. Friends there had a very heavy frost on the trees etc. a few weeks ago and it was magical looking.
