Moody or What....
The last few days have been fairly wet..
and the sky looked downright moody at times...
... and we had some heavy downpours.
However the forecast for next week looks wonderful..

Green is Here
At the beginning of last week
there was very little greenery on the trees (above)....
..and after a warm, sunny weekend
the trees produced their brilliant green foliage(above- this week)...
...spring is here!
...beginning in the valley
and slowly creeping up the mountains.

Silently Flying
A few days ago we saw hang gliders
jumping off from the top of the steep mountain...
Two of them managed to fly,
the third was not able to get off the ground...
No. 1 going down, down...
...down..
...down...
...quietly floating over us...
....and down below us....
No.2 flying by...
...looking quite comfortable...
and floating safely down
into the valley below us.

Bright and Warm
After a lovely, warm day today,
20 degrees C....
..the robins are singing,
and the leaves on the trees are rapidly emerging...
... the spring flowers are in full bloom,
Arabis, Aubrieta, and Grape Hyacinth...
Although spring is late this year,
the perennials are as beautiful as ever!
