...this scene draws my eye every time I pass by..

...The rowboat is full of water but still looks serviceable...

Lookout

 

We've had great trail running weather this weekend,

so we ran up to the lookout over Cultus Lake,

where we could still see the

early morning frost

in the shadowy valley below.

The dykes along the canal

 give a wonderful opportunity for running, biking, and walking

on beautiful winter days...

We have been having wonderful weather

 for running and walking...

 and other outdoor activities...

 

...such a bonus for us.

Our Januarys are generally dark and wet.

Here one of our many trails lead us

to the blue reflection of the Vedder River

Winter Colour

 

Winter colours are predominantly grayish greens and brown.. 

 

This leaning, old, retired barn is surrounded by blackberries briars,

creating a rather desolate scene.

However, we have cheery, sunny days

forecast for the week ahead!
