Farmer's On the Go

 

The farmers are busy emptying their manure pits...

 

...and fertilizing their fields....

 

...a sure sign spring is here.

Yellow Cheer

 

Our Leopard's Bane has been blooming it's heart out

for weeks now

with it's cheerful little yellow daisy like flowers...

 

...a wonderful reminder of my mother's flower garden.

 

...and the Pansies love the spring weather as well.

Living Gardens

 

My hubby was hard at work today.  : )

 

The fresh bark mulch in the gardens

make all the plants  seem to pop...

 

Yes, spring is here...

 

..and all the gardens are coming alive.

On the Way

 

Yes, spring is on the way...

 

...these lovely peach blossoms are fading now...

 

...as well as the snow drops, while...

 

...the sweet smelling RockCress blossoms

are opening their delicate flowers.

It makes me smile.  :  )

Mountain Views

 

Taken a few weeks ago,

an impressive view of Mt Baker...

 

from the top of Vedder Mountain. 

It is unusual for the Vedder peak to be free of snow

at this time of the year, but that changed a few days ago

as fresh snow covered the top with white.
