Evening Glow

 

After a warm, muggy, May day....

 

...and a rare thunderstorm..

 

...we were able to enjoy

the glowing evening reflection...

 

...of the setting sun.

A Visitor

 

Look who visited this morning...

(so glad I wasn't working in my garden)

 

...a blur running in our back yard..

 

...while I took a photo from the safety of my back deck...

 

...and the deer watched from the neighbour's hill.

Heli-logging

(It's hard to take a good photo in the early morning haze)

 

The view from our front door....

...we could watch this helicopter carry logs

from the steep hillside down to the logging truck below.

 

 

If you look carefully you can see the line from the helicopter

 attached to the log far below....

 

...and he quickly flew another log...

 

...and one more log....

(He resembles a little mosquito)

 

....and another ....

 

.....and one more log.
